Working Student – Data Science (m/f)

• Build and improve an automated booking engine based on machine learning and data mining algorithms
• Combine business data with other data sources, such as socio-demographics and consumer/ structural data
• Provide data driven analysis on customer behaviour, segments, and explain emerging trends in data
• Build concepts and brainstorm with the team
• Work closely with our development team


Skills, Experience & Competencies:

• You are studying maths, physics, (IT-Systems) engineering or computer science
• Understanding of basic concept of machine learning
• Fluent in English, German skills are a plus
• Creativity in problem solving, strong analytical and logical skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit, pro-active and a hands-on attitude

Technical/Data Science Know-How:

• Experience with Python
• Experience in Data Mining and Analysis of Data / Interpretation Results
• Knowledge of NoSQL database (e.g. MongoDB) is a plus
• Understanding of basic Web Technologies (HTML, Security, etc.) is a plus

Many of Europe’s most successful eCommerce companies as well as major local chains benefit from direct mail, which they run alongside their email marketing and directly integrate into their cross-channel campaigns. To do so, they use optilyz.
